Traditional Batik Print | Sand-Textured Effect
This piece features a handcrafted Batik print, created using a time-honored method where blocks are dipped in hot wax and stamped onto the fabric. The fabric is then placed on a bed of sand to create a natural granulated texture. The waxed areas resist dye, while the unwaxed portions absorb color—resulting in beautifully organic patterns with rich contrast.
